We're a club in the old sense of the word: people who keep meeting because they can't stop talking about the same thing. For us, that thing is whisky, its culture, its places, and its people. Sharing it is our way of living.

Who we are

Built around a shared glass

Cask & Beyond began the way most good things do: a few bottles, a few friends, and conversations that ran long past midnight. It grew because whisky culture is generous by nature. A dram simply tastes better when the glass next to yours is full too.

We're not collectors chasing rarities or investors watching auction prices. We're learners, hosts and storytellers. Every tasting teaches us something, and passing that on is honestly our favourite part.

What we do

Five things, done with care

Tastings

Small tables, good glasses, five or six drams and no rush. Sometimes themed, sometimes blind, always ending later than planned.

Our blind nights are bring-a-bottle. Half the fun is watching someone defend a dram before knowing what it is.

Whisky tours

We travel to where whisky is made. Distillery visits, warehouse walks, conversations with the people who fill the casks. A warehouse full of sleeping barrels explains more than any book we've read.

Content

We write and record about whisky in plain language, for people who want to understand what's in their glass without needing a dictionary first.

Trainings

Proper sessions for the curious: how whisky is made, how to nose and taste with intention, and how to read a label without being fooled by it.

Private events

Tailored tastings for teams, celebrations, or a group of friends who want an evening built around them. Tell us who's coming and we'll pick the bottles.

Who we're inviting

You, probably

You don't need a collection, a favourite region, or the ability to say "Bunnahabhain" on the first try. You need curiosity and an evening to spare. Some of our best nights were carried by people at their very first tasting, asking the questions the rest of us had forgotten to ask.

And if you do already know your sherry butts from your bourbon barrels, come anyway. Bring your opinions. We'll pour something that argues with them.
